Cave Paintings to Books

Our first writings as a civilisation were not words but drawings on the walls of caves. Communicating visually was our first instinct. But as the volume of knowledge exploded, it became untenable to use images and hence the written word was invented. It was a way for us to efficiently communicate a massive amount of information. Text then became the primary medium of communication with visual imagery relegated to the secondary.

Visual Book and the age of AI

We learn better visually. This is our most foundational belief. Whether it is the structure of the atom or a black hole, civilisations throughout history or the evolution of species, we believe seeing is critical to our ability to understand something. We believe humanity can once again communicate through imagery. With advent of AI, for the very first time, we can represent any piece of knowledge as an image. We can represent all of human knowledge visually.
